Dregvertising
Yes, this sounds disingenuous coming from someone who just asked you to participate in an advertising survey. Advertising is intrusive, but I can tolerate it within certain limits. For an example of something that oversteps those limits, I would suggest something like this.
As a responsible person, I absolutely cannot recommend that anyone head to CBS headquarters and pelt the place with these things until the windows are opaque. No sir, not me.

Yet another reason to buy eggs at the farmer's market.

I hate Leslie Moonves

Can't say as I really understand all the teeth-gnashing. If CBS was, say, shrink-wrapping eggs so you had to work to get wrappers off before frying up your eggs, then sure, that would be a pain. As it is, this in no way disrupts your morning routine; unless you consider being exposed to another advertising message disruptive. And if that’s the case, be sure not to open your newspaper, turn on your TV or radio, or look out the window.

How about toilet paper? Nice white surface and daily exposure to the ummmm consumer. Certainly where most advertising already is heading, no?

What If you could get the same quality toilet paper for half the price? Would you then object so much to having to sit through (ha-ha) looking at a company logo for a moment?

Certain logos would be an absolute pleasure to put behind me...so to speak.

Be careful of what you ask for:

Will it ever end? Pretty soon they will start paying poor mothers to tattoo their children with a logo, and the moms will say yes because they need the money to get food.
I hate corporations. Ugh.

Thanks Craig! I was only joking around...hey LOD--looking good in that Renovo ad, despite the rope swing injuries!

The problem is one of nonstop corporate intrusion into every moment of our daily lives. Some of us occasionally like to be able to take a break from having to be a consumer or filter out media messages forced upon me and my family for their benefit rather than mine. Any chance you work in advertising or marketing, Craig?
