Instinct and improv

When the Mommybloggers asked me to write a post about Father's Day, I considered two very important points:

  1. When it comes to "mommyblogging," can you get more eponymous than "Mommybloggers"? [No.]
  2. Did I like the look of those go-go boots in the site's logo? [Yes.]

I wrote this piece about my dad, and his dad, and my boys, and their dad (which is me). There's also a picture, so that the world may finally behold the glory of my gargantuan eyebrows.

Groping. Isn't that what all of us parents do? We can read books, but given a specific situation, we grope and hope we are doing the right thing. Groping could be a metaphor for life. Groping in parenting, groping in our job, groping during sex (pun intended); it's all just one big grope session. Sounds like you're doing all right, though. Happy blogging.

How is it possible I managed to forget about Father's Day...with all the commercialisation?

Egads man!

What a touching essay. Happy Father's day.

Happy Fathers' Day

Happy Dad's Day, Dad, to you, your awesome sons, and to your eyebrows, which deserve a holiday of their very own.

Happy Belated Father's Day. I hope you had a fantastic weekend.
